Crane Army Ammunition Activity ships, stores, demilitarizes and produces conventional munitions for the warfighter. Its quarterly magazine reflects on the efforts of the dedicated Crane Army workforce, especially in light of the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Crane Army specializes in conventional munitions support for U.S. Army and Joint Force readiness, including storage, quality control, shipment preparation, distribution, production and demilitarization.

The Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) is a U.S. Department of War facility located in Crane, Indiana. CAAA's primary mission is to receive, store, ship, produce, renovate, and demilitarize conventional ammunition, missiles, and related components to support the readiness of the Joint Force.
