The Engineering Freedom is a publication of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Afghanistan Engineer District-South (AED-South) and is an unofficial publication authorized by AR 360-1. It is produced in the Afghanistan theater of operations. The mission of Engineering Freedom is to support the commander's internal communication program for AED-South. It also serves as a communication tool for accurately transmitting policies, operations, technical developments and command philosophy to the AED-South team.
