Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffrey Darlington takes over senior NCO duties at the 800th LSB

MUSTANG, Okla. - The 800th Logistics Support Brigade said goodbye to Command Sgt. Maj. Nickolette Yungandreas and welcomed Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffrey Darlington as the brigade's top non-commissioned officer during a change of responsibility ceremony in Mustang, Okla., Nov. 17, 2012

Col. Laura Wisch, the brigade commander, administered the ceremony, and Command Sgt. Maj. James Wills, senior enlisted leader of the 80th Training Command was the distinguished guest.

The change of responsibility ceremony serves the dual function of honoring the departing command sergeant major and officially recognizing the incoming command sergeant major as the senior non-commissioned officer.

Yungandreas complimented the soldiers for turning the brigade into "the premiere unit that supports the 80th." She said, 800th LSB soldiers consistently exceeded the standard set by the 80th Training Command headquarters.

Darlington was instrumental in activating the 800th LSB while assigned to the 95th Training Division during the Army Reserve's transformation from 2007-2008.

"It's amazing how the Army works, everything's come full circle," Darlington said. "To be selected as the brigade's second CSM is an honor and a dream come true."
