WASHINGTON ― Time is running out to complete applications for participation in the Presidential Inaugural Parade. The Joint Task Force ̶ National Capital Region Presidential Inaugural Parade application website will close at 8 p.m., EST, Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. All organizations wishing to participate must complete their applications by that time.<br /> <br /> Applications for participation must be submitted online at http://2013InaugurationParade.army.mil. Interested parties can also access additional information about the parade and view detailed instructions for completing and submitting their application materials. <br /> <br /> During the last inauguration, 1,382 groups applied to participate in the parade, surpassing the 343 applicants in 2005. All applications are collected and organized by JTF-NCR and then submitted to the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC), which is appointed by the President-Elect.
