Background: The 99th RSC will host a ground-breaking ceremony for the new $15 million, 43,000-square-foot commissary being built in Coraopolis next to the McGarity U.S. Army Reserve Center. This new commissary will serve more than 30,000 authorized shoppers (service members, military families and retirees) within a 40-mile radius of the store.

The 99th RSC provides base-operations support to all Army Reserve soldiers, civilians, families, units, facilities and equipment for the entire Northeast Region of the Army Reserve. Specific services performed include management of human resources, logistics, finance, facilities, equipment maintenance, information technology and those well-being functions typically provided by Army installations.
