CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - More than 1,600 reservists from the Canadian Army Reserves have partnered with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Marines for Exercise Noble Guerrier 2012 (Noble Warrior 2012), a large-scale exercise hosted by MCB Camp Lejeune, Jan. 1-8.

The reservists from Quebec Province, eastern Canada, are training with Marines aboard MCB Camp Lejeune through a variety of real-world simulations. Conducting five missions in five days, this high tempo of operations allow the troops to fully benefit from the great training infrastructures aboard MCB Camp Lejeune. Focus will be on the validation of Canadian troops’ capacity to project their forces, and protect them while conducting a variety of operations to include humanitarian outreach, urban and amphibious operations.

NG 12 is the climax of the year’s training for Quebec’s reservists. This exercise aims to maintain and develop skills and knowledge gained from the ten-year robust contribution to Canada’s engagements, at home and abroad.
