The Afghan-led operation followed a three-day mission in the valley in late March, which removed significant amounts of munitions from the valley.

The newly discovered caches included 35 rocket-propelled grenades with 40 boosters, two DShK anti-aircraft weapons systems, 10 fighting vests, 20 grenades, two mortar rounds and 10 bolt-action rifles.
