75th USARIC Soldiers participate in 9/11 ceremony on 25th Anniversary
RICHMOND, Texas-75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command Soldiers currently serving and one retired 75th USARIC Soldier participated in the Fort Bend County “Heroes of Honor” ceremony on the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, at the historic Fort Bend County Courthouse, in Richmond, Texas, Sept. 11, 2026.
During the event Sgt. 1st Class Michael Brown, noncommissioned officer in charge, G2, and Master Sgt. Erika Sulin, NCOIC, G4, both with the 75th USARIC, rendered military honors by folding the U.S. flag with 13 folds while a speaker gave the meaning and value of each fold. This is a time-honored tradition that symbolizes the history and resiliency of the United States.
Retired Army Col. Robert Perryman, former chief of staff, 75th USARIC, also participated in the ceremony, giving remarks as the keynote speaker, while Sgt. Maj. Dexter Britton, senior enlisted leader, G3, 75th USARIC, attended in his civilian capacity as a Fort Bend County Constable.
