Brig. Gen. Constance Jenkins, commanding general of U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command and senior commander of Fort Detrick, threw out the ceremonial first pitch during Fort Detrick Night at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, Aug. 13. The Frederick Keys hosted the annual appreciation night against the Bowling Green Hot Rods, featuring discounted admission for service members and Fort Detrick employees and a presentation of the colors by a Fort Detrick color guard.
