MILLINGTON, Tenn. – As part of the Navy’s ongoing commitment to modernizing human resources and improving Quality of Service, leaders from MyNavy Career Center and Navy Pay and Personnel Support Center provided a comprehensive demonstration of the MyNavy Tracker's capabilities to Vice Adm. Jeffrey J. Czerewko, Chief of Naval Personnel, on August 6, 2026.
The demonstration showcased the system's proven impact during its initial rollout to 21 Unit Identification Codes (UICs), expansion to 100 additional UICs, and previewed its next phase of expansion to 30% of the Fleet. MyNavy Tracker is a critical tool within the MyNavy HR ecosystem designed to give Sailors greater transparency and control over the administrative, travel, and pay aspects of their permanent change of station (PCS) process.
"MyNavy Tracker is a prime example of how we are actively listening to Fleet feedback and leveraging technology to put Sailors first," said Vice Adm. Czerewko. "By automating these complex administrative workflows, we are drastically reducing the paperwork stress associated with moving, preventing PCS-related debt, and allowing our Sailors and their families to focus on their next mission rather than their travel claims."
During its initial phased rollout, the MyNavy Tracker successfully reduced Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) rework from 11.1% to 8.8%. The system transitions the PCS process from a manual, paper-based routine to an automated digital interface. Instead of manually completing numerous separate documents, Sailors now use a smart, pre-populated questionnaire on the MyNavy Portal that automatically generates cases, giving CPPAs instant visibility.
"This powerful tool is revolutionizing the administrative and pay side of the PCS process, a process we all know can be a source of significant paperwork stress," said Capt. Christy Sibley, commanding officer of Navy Pay and Personnel Support Center. "MyNavy Tracker puts the Sailor in the driver's seat of their travel claims and documentation, providing them with the information and control they need for a smoother, more transparent HR experience."
While MyNavy Tracker streamlines travel claims, key supporting documentation uploads, and order tracking, it is distinct from systems used for scheduling household goods shipments, which will continue to be managed through the Defense Personal Property System. The ongoing expansion aims to deliver a fully transparent, fleet-wide system by the end of the year, preventing processing delays and starting new entitlements on time.
