Livorno Elementary Middle School will host its annual Back-to-School Bash, featuring the Student Readiness Program and New Parent Orientation, from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at the school.
The event is open to current and incoming LEMS students and their families, as well as other students in the Darby military community. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the school, meet faculty and staff, and connect with installation organizations that support students and families throughout the school year.
Representatives from Child and Youth Services, the Youth Center, Youth Sports, the Parent-Teacher-Student Organization, the School Advisory Committee, LEMS Bus Transportation, Army Community Service, the Federal Voting Assistance Program, Army & Air Force Exchange Service, the Patient Liaison Office, the Military and Family Life Counseling Program, the school nurse, school counselor, Darby Library, Women, Infants and Children, and other community organizations will be available to provide information and answer questions.
In addition, Army Community Service will raffle two backpacks filled with school supplies to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
