Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest awarded Trevet-NOREAS Joint Venture LLC of San Diego, California, a $45 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, architecture and engineering type contract in support of environmental restoration services July 17.
Environmental services include compliance, planning, studies, and restoration of natural resources in support of the broader U.S. Navy Environmental Restoration Program and similar activities. Work will be performed at various locations within the NAVFAC Northwest area of responsibility, including Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
"Restoring our soil, securing our drinking water, and protecting our natural habitats isn't just about environmental compliance—it is about securing our operational longevity and ensuring that shore infrastructure can support the department of war’s mission for decades to come,” said Tony King, NAVFAC Northwest business director.
The contract covers work performed through January 2032.
