Information Warfare Analysis Squadron welcomes new commander

The Information Warfare Analysis Squadron held a change of command ceremony at the Air Force Institute of Technology, June 5, 2026.

During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Ty Axson assumed command of the squadron, succeeding Lt. Col. Neale Linge. Col. Gene Noh, Forces and Technologies Intelligence Group commander and the presiding officer, passed the organizational guidon to Axson, symbolizing the official transfer of leadership.

Known as FTW, the squadron drives critical intelligence efforts to identify foreign threats, expose vulnerabilities, and discover strategic opportunities.

Under Axson’s leadership, the squadron will continue enabling the United States to achieve and preserve a decisive information and decision advantage across the full spectrum of military operations, policy, and acquisition.
