REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL – March 20, 2026 – The Capability Program Executive (CPE), Aviation's Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Project Office (UAS PO) awarded a production contract to AV for Long Range Reconnaissance (LRR) systems. These AV P550 were procured through the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Marketplace Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA).
LRR UAS systems provide maneuver Battalion Commanders with enhanced organic reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition capabilities, increasing situational awareness and standoff from potential threats on the modern battlefield.
