New Recruitment Office Supports Future Force of 153rd Airlift Wing

The 153rd Airlift Wing’s Recruitment and Retention Office has moved to a new, highly visible location, reinforcing recruiting as a top priority for the Wyoming Air National Guard.

The office is now housed in the former base gym, located in Building 27 with the best view of the static C-130 aircraft just outside the gate. The move places recruiters in a location that is easy to spot, easy to access and impossible to miss. The facility is staffed by more than 15 personnel, including nine recruiters and nine supporting professionals, all working as a single team with one objective: build and sustain the force.

Recruiting and retention are critical to mission success, ensuring the wing remains ready to answer the call for both state and federal operations. This relocation is intentional. It reflects leadership’s focus on growing the force and connecting with the community. The new office gives recruiters the space, visibility and access they need to do their jobs effectively. The individuals who make up the force are the Wyoming Air National Guard’s greatest asset. This new recruitment office is an investment in those people and in the future of the 153rd.
