The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District awarded a construction contract to Diversified Construction of Oklahoma, Inc., of Edmond, Okla., Sept. 24.
The $1 million contract is for power updates to Building 16 at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in McAlester, Okla.
The Tulsa District provides engineering, design, project management, construction and contracting support to six U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force military installations in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as federal partner agencies at their request.
