Starkville, Mississippi native Pvt. Wilbur Obriant competed in a unit-level best warrior competition with the goal of advancing to a top spot on the 377th Theater Sustainment Command's Best Squad.
Obriant, who joined the military a year ago, currently serves at the 110th Attack Wing at Battle Creek Air National Guard Base in Battle Creek, Michigan. Throughout the year, Soldiers in all components compete in best warrior and best squad competitions around the world with the goal of advancing all the way to the U.S. Army Best Squad Competition for top honors. The winning team is announced each year in Washington, D.C.
