Warren G. Harding Presidential Wreath Laying Ceremony

The Adjutant General of the Ohio National Guard, Maj. Gen. John Harris Jr., on behalf of the POTUS (President of the United States) and US Army Reserve soldiers from the 88th Readiness Division, presided over the annual Presidential Wreath Laying Ceremony, honoring the 29th President, Warren G. Harding, at the Harding Memorial Presidential Gravesite, Marion, Ohio, July 20, 2024.

The ceremony included the invocation from Chaplain (Maj.) Daniel Hamman of the 302nd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, a family tribute to President Harding by Dr. Warren G. Harding III, Grandnephew of President Harding, as well as a US Army Tribute from Harris. Staff Sgt. Daniel Kucner, a bugler of the 338th Army Band, 88th Readiness Division, played taps, concluding the ceremony.

Soldiers of the 88th Readiness Division, spanning across 19 Northwestern states, continue their mission to honor and support Presidential Wreath Laying Ceremonies within their region.
