KABUL, Afghanistan — ANSF partnered with ISAF forces to conduct an overnight operation in Sistanay village, Nad Ali district, Helmand province.
The initial assessment of damage resulted in 11 insurgents killed. A sizeable amount of black tar opium and a small cache of weapons and IED making materials were among the group.
There are no initial reports of damage to buildings or infrastructure.
No innocent Afghan civilians were hurt in these operations.
