CAMP TAJI, Iraq — Two Soldiers of the 3666th Support Maintenance Co. of the 541st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion participated in the Camp Taji variety show on Friday, Oct. 30.
Spc. Joshua Moore, a wheeled vehicle mechanic with the 3666th Maint. Co., from Gilbert, Ariz., played guitar and sang an original song which received a standing ovation. "Spc. Moore is a mainstay at unit functions where his ability to make up songs on the fly is sought after and is often the highlight of the evening," said 1st Sgt. Russell Richardson, the company's first sergeant and a Chandler, Ariz., native.
Another one of 3666th's Soldier's who participated in the talent show is Pfc. Sarah Stevens a wheeled vehicle mechanic, and a Mesa, Ariz., native.
1st Sgt. Richardson stated that "Pfc. Stevens is a talented dancer and put on a superb display of her skills in a contemporary dance routine." New to the Army, she turned down a scholarship offer to the prestigious Julliard College of Fine Arts so she could pursue a lifelong passion to serve her country.
"There is real talent in the 3666 Maintenance Co. These Soldiers are special people and should be proud of their contributions, efforts and skills that they displayed at the talent show while serving their country."
