WIESBADEN, Germany – PEO EIS’s Power Projection Enablers (P2E) — whose mission is to modernize infrastructure and information technology for stakeholders outside the continental United States — recently completed a multi-year project to engineer, furnish, install, secure and test critical facility infrastructure at the Consolidated Intelligence Center (CIC) at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany.

P2E’s Europe Directorate outfitted the CIC with the latest security systems and supplied phones, computers and enough power infrastructure to provide mission networks to support tenant requirements. The CIC’s newly modernized infrastructure entered full operational capability on Aug. 19.

“This project was a massive undertaking that required a lot of great project management leadership to achieve success,” said Tom Dunaway, P2E product manager at PEO EIS. “Congratulations to our project manager and her team, as well as our Naval Information Warfare Center partners, for getting this modernization project across the finish line.”

P2E is a product office within PEO EIS’s Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems portfolio.
