WASHINGTON - Navy Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, wrote an article called "Strategic Communication: Getting Back to Basics" that is published the 4th Quarter edition of Joint Force Quarterly. In the article, Mullen calls on Americans "to take a harder look" at strategic communication and emphasizes the need to boost the nation's credibility by building relationships and trust, particularly in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
