All around Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, Marines are prepping and practicing for the upcoming 2020 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show. This includes the MCAS Cherry Point Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Marines assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron. They are gearing up and going out on the range to make sure all demonstrations are done properly and as spectacularly as possible. The EOD Marines went out to the range with mogas and diesel fuel on February 19, 2020, making three separate fuel bags with varied measurements of each type of fuel to test which mixture would make for the best display during the Marine Air Ground Task Force demonstrations. They even tested out a different type of firing device from what was used last air show to create the explosions in the most proficient way possible.
