NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex, Va. Beach, VA – Intelligence Specialist 3rd Class Petty Officer Tyler Roper recently graduated from Intelligence Specialist “A” School.
The 14-week course of instruction, provides new-accession and fleet conversion Navy Enlisted personnel (E-1 through E-6), from the Active and Reserve Components, the basic knowledge and skills to perform duties as Navy Intelligence Specialists (IS), under all conditions, afloat and ashore, at the apprentice level with supervision. Upon completion of the course, personnel are ready for immediate sea/shore assignment.
Roper is a native of Las Vegas, NV and is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Roper
