Mobility’s Hometown hosts 19 AF command team

Mobility’s Hometown welcomed distinguished guests, U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Craig Wills, the 19th Air Force commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Erik Thompson, the 19th Air Force command chief, to the 97th Air Mobility Wing for a tour on Nov. 4 through Nov. 6, 2019, at Altus Air Force Base, Okla. During the visit to Mobility’s Hometown, Maj. Gen. Wills and Chief Thompson engaged with almost every squadron they could throughout the span of three days. On the tour they spoke to Airmen on upcoming changes within the Air Force, what separates them from the rest of the world and the impact they have in accomplishing the Air Force mission. The 19th Air Force command team concluded their visit with a base all-call, where they stressed how mobility separates the U.S. Air Force from the rest of the world, reminding our exceptional Airmen how important everyone is to mission accomplishment around the world.
