Fort McCoy volunteer recognized

Deputy to the Garrison Commander James A. Chen presented an Army certificate of appreciation Sept. 20, 2019, on behalf of the Fort McCoy Garrison to Aiko Timm at Rumpel Fitness Center at Fort McCoy, Wis.

Timm was recognized for her continuous volunteer work to maintain a wide variety of plants throughout the fitness center for several years.

Timm also received a complimentary gift certificate from the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.

Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.

The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
