Hometown Hero: Anderson Dibble

U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Anderson E. Dibble hails from Tampa, Florida and is currently serving as an embarker with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 19.2 in Kuwait.
“Being in the Command Element, I know all the units leaving and coming; that is a big part of my job. I make sure that their plans are correct.” Says Cpl. Dibble.
As an Embarker, Cpl. Dibble has the important duty of ensuring the Marines arrive at their destination at the correct time, as well as getting the Marines back to their families without delay.
Her biggest challenge is keeping up with the various units and commands that come and go, but that doesn’t stop her from completing her mission. She has been a large logistical asset to the overall mission of the SPMAGTF.
Despite her work schedule, Cpl. Dibble still finds the time to contact her family every day while on deployment. Upon her return home, she hopes to visit the beaches in Tampa and enjoy time kayaking with her family.
