U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Brian Elvena hails from Tampa, Florida and is currently serving as a medlog specialist with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 19.2 in Kuwait.
“I procure all the class A materials and medical supplies to go out forward and save lives,” says Elvena.
As a medlog specialist, Elvena is in charge of all medical storehouses on station, ensuring that all the materials are correctly stored and present in the assigned locations.
Elvena is excited to be working with the various branches of the military and enjoys helping others to accomplish their mission. Overall, his mission is to make sure that all military personnel receive the best care possible while on deployment.
Back home, Elvena paints landscapes and hikes in various locations in Nashville, Tennessee.
