After four days of engaging conversations and networking with leaders from across the Intelligence Community, academia and industry, the Defense Intelligence Agency Department of Defense Intelligence Information Worldwide Conference concluded, Aug. 21.
During the closing ceremony, DIA’s Chief Information Officer Jack Gumtow reiterated his message from day one of the conference, emphasizing the importance of bringing industry experts together to network, collaborate and engage.
“This conference is not just about DIA or the DIA CIO, but it’s about us and a joint effort to further the mission of this country,” said Gumtow.
This year’s DoDIIS Worldwide Conference was the largest conference in the past decade, and Gumtow expressed his sincere appreciation for everyone’s attendance.
“Thank you for coming and being a part of this,” Gumtow expressed. He added, “However we serve, uniform, non-uniform, vendor or academia, and quite frankly our Five Eye foreign partners, we’re all in this together, thank you!”
