Air National Guard Band of the Midwest to perform free patriotic concerts in Chicagoland

PEORIA, Ill. (June 5, 2019) — The Air National Guard’s Band of the Midwest is coming to the Millennium Carillon in Naperville, Illinois, July 1 at 7 p.m.! These fantastic musicians will help instill patriotism and national pride in your community by performing an exciting and diverse 90-minute show. The unit’s mission is to help tell the story of today's military and the accomplishments of our wonderful country through patriotic, jazz and pop favorites.

Stationed at the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria, Illinois, these musical ambassadors serve all corners of the Midwest and are looking forward to performing their free show in your community this summer. The Band of the Midwest’s highly trained musicians have traveled and performed extensively for both civilian and military audiences, including presidents, nobility and dignitaries throughout the United States and the world.

Please be sure to join us for this fantastic summer performance, and invite any family, friends, community members and veterans who would enjoy the patriotic performance. All shows are free and no advanced tickets are required.

About the Band of the Midwest
The Air National Guard Band of the Midwest is a military band consisting of citizen Airmen who train two days a month for a two-week summer performance series. The unit’s performances aim to instill patriotism and national pride that honors our American heritage. As a component of U.S. Air Force Public Affairs, the Band of the Midwest performs a vital role in communicating the message and professionalism of today's Air National Guard, Air Force and the United States armed forces.
