KATHMANDU, Nepal – Regional Health Command-Pacific’s Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Dennis P. LeMaster was in Kathmandu, Nepal visiting the Walter Reed Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences Research Unit Nepal in May 2019. LeMaster toured the WARUN facility where vaccines, drugs and diagnostics are developed and evaluated for the warfighter. The facility also conducts surveillance for infectious disease threats to the U.S. military, while supporting education and training for military medicine.
