The 104th Fighter Wing Thunderbolt Council donated a check for $1,000 to the Westfield 350 Committee as a way to support the local community March 27, 2019, at Westfield City Hall in Westfield, Massachusetts.

“A large number of our members live and work in Westfield,” said Col. Peter T. Green III. “We are proud to be a part of this celebration.”

Westfield is celebrating its 350th birthday and has a number of events planned, including a parade that is partially focused on honoring service members.

“We are really focused on paying particular attention to all of our veterans,” said Harry Rock, Westfield 350 president. “As well as our active personnel at the 104th that we are so proud of. We want to say thank you to all of those veterans and active duty.”

Members of the 104 FW are planning to march in the parade that is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday May 19, starting at Stanley Park.
