WIESBADEN, Germany - Ukrainian Deputy Chief of Defense Gen. Lt. Sergiy
Bessarab and members of his command team visited the headquarters at Clay Kaserne today.
They were welcomed with an honor cordon and met by Lt. Gen. Christopher
Cavoli, U.S. Army Europe commanding general.
The delegation was here to meet with U.S. Army Europe leadership and tour
various facilities. The purpose of senior leader visits like this one are
to strengthen bilateral relations between allies.
The honor cordon was comprised of Soldiers from the 529th Military Police
Company Honor Guard, and the U.S. Army Europe Band played the Ukrainian and U.S. national anthems.
