CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – The 335th Signal Command (Theater) (Provisional) holds a promotion ceremony to recognized one of its Non Commissioned Officer’s

Newly promoted Master Sergeant John Richards, G3 NCOIC, was promoted at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, 11 January 2019. Richards is currently deployed with the 335th Signal Command in support of Operation Spartan Shield.

An Active Duty Soldier with 18.5 years of service, Richards had two previous deployments.

“You should never stop moving forward, personally and professionally,” said Richards, “even when you think things will not change, because you never truly know what tomorrow will bring.”

Richards has been married 18 years to Mrs. Kimberly Richards and they have one son, Joshua, who is 10.

Achieving the rank of Master Sergeant is quite an achievement for any Soldier in the United States Army, and the 335th Signal Command is very proud of MSG Richards.

The command’s mission is to plan, engineer, integrate, operate, maintain, and defends the Army’s portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) across Southwest Asia in support of USARCENT and regionally deployed Combined/Joint Forces.
