Sierra Army Depot is well known among the logistic community as the Army Materiel Command’s premier storage, logistic, and maintenance Depot. The Depot performs its primary mission as a premier logistics platform and underpins the readiness of the force by serving as the National Guard and Reserve training venue and a support site for power project missions. Sierra provides Soldier support in the form of a 70 person barracks, arms room, unstaffed dining facility, classroom training resources, Morale Welfare and Recreation (gym, bowling alley), AAFES Xpress, Occupational health Clinic, Police and fire/emergency services and CAC/DEERS.
