Phoenix Recruiting conducts ASU Salute to Service activities

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Phoenix Recruiting Battalion conducted various Army themed events in coordination with Arizona State University’s Salute to Service college football game, between ASU and the University of California, Los Angeles, Nov. 10, Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe, Arizona.

As part of the activities, the battalion featured presentations from the Black Daggers, the official U.S. Army Special Operations Command Parachute Demonstration team and the 2/75th Ranger Regiment both of whom demonstrated their capabilities prior to the game.

The Black Daggers landed on Sun Devil Stadium prior to the game, to the rapturous applause from a patriotic crowd, just prior to Veterans Day on Nov. 11.

At half-time a select group of Future Soldiers from the battalion took part in a mass oath of enlistment ceremony, also featuring the Marines, Air Force and Navy.
