10th Special Operations Kandak Commandos partnered with U.S. Special Operations Forces concluded a multi-day offensive operation in Khanabad district, Kunduz province, Afghanistan, Apr. 5, 2018. The special operators eliminated seven Taliban fighters and detained three insurgents.
Throughout the winter, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces pressured Taliban facilitation operations in Kunduz through persistent Afghan Special Security Forces raids, Afghan 209th Corps clearance operations, and increase application of Afghan Air Force airstrikes.
