USFK Leadership, Ground Component Commander visit I Corps at Warfighter 18-2

Gen. Vincent K. Brooks and Command Sgt. Maj. Steven L. Payton, Commander and Command Sergeant Major of United Nations Command, Combined Forces Command, and United States Forces Korea conduct a “Battlefield Circulation” along with Ground Component Commander, Gen. Byeong Joo Kim during a visit to the I Corps Command Post for Warfighter exercise (WFX) 18-2 with Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky, I Corps Commanding General and Command Sgt. Maj. Walter Tagalicud, I Corps Command Sergeant Major, at Camp Hovey, South Korea on Nov. 10, 2017. WFX 18-2 is a part of a continuous exercise schedule, strengthening the U.S.-Republic of Korea (ROK) alliance and creates training experiences that enable the Army’s senior mission commanders to develop current, relevant, and campaign quality, Joint and expeditionary mission command instincts and skills. These types of enduring training exercises highlight the longstanding military partnership between the U.S. and ROK.
