Airmen at the Air National Guard Readiness Center gathered to honor their quarterly award winners during a ceremony on Joint Base Andrews, Md., April 27, 2017.
Brig. Gen. Steven Nordhaus, ANGRC commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Lorraine Regan, ANGRC command chief, presented each of the winners with a trophy and coin in recognition of their accomplishments.
Nordhaus discussed a recent rescue effort made by Airmen from the New York Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing, and how Readiness Center personnel contributed to the mission success.
“To me it’s just amazing stuff that our Airmen are able to do, and you are the power behind that,” said Nordhaus. “That’s the readiness that you enabled – recruiting, training, all the organizational functions we do here to make sure our Airmen are able to go downrange.”
The award winners are:
Civilian of the Quarter, Category 2, Donna Borst,
Civilian of the Quarter, Category 3, Alexandra Mahr
Non-commissioned Officer of the Quarter, Tech. Sgt. Charles Pugh
