Joint Service Wrestling with Fort Bragg Morale, Welfare and Recreation

FORT BRAGG -- Soldiers and Airmen competed in an intramural wrestling tournament hosted by the Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation sports program Nov. 15, 2016 at Ritz Epps Fitness Center, Fort Bragg, N.C.

The events are only open to active duty personnel who are stationed at Fort Bragg. However, Fort Bragg MWR also hosts co-ed events, which are open to Department of Defense ID card holders.

Any service member stationed at, or on temporary orders to, Fort Bragg can participate in unit level sports programs.

“We want to make sure that everything we do is not just promoting readiness, but also promoting fun,” said Cara Bates, sports specialist, with the Fort Bragg MWR sports program. “This is just a fun event for people to de-stress, but it’s still sticking with the Army Values we all have.”
