HOUSTON — The Coast Guard continues their search for two missing boaters Wednesday, after they did not return home from fishing in Galveston Bay, Monday afternoon.
A flipped boat was spotted in the search for the boaters by an Air Station Corpus Christi HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircrew in Trinity Bay, Tuesday afternoon.
The boat was later confirmed to belong to Michael Watkins, one of the missing men.
Coast Guard boat and aircrews from Station Houston and Air Station Houston are currently searching the areas of Trinity Bay, Galveston Bay and East Bay for the men.
