Michigan Army National Guard promotes Delton Soldier

LANSING, Mich. - Brandon Grace of Delton, Michigan, has been promoted to Chief Warrant Officer 2 in the Michigan Army National Guard.

Grace is a legal administrator with the Lansing-based 46th Military Police Command. He has been a member of the Michigan National Guard for nine years.

Grace attended Basic training in 2006 at Fort Jackson, S.C., and Warrant Officer Candidate School in 2013.

He is a 2010 Veteran of the war in Afghanistan. During his tour, he served as a court reporter. Grace is also a 2008 Veteran of the war in Iraq. During his Iraq tour, he served as a paralegal.

Throughout his military career, Grace has received numerous awards to include a Joint Service Commendation Medal and an Army Commendation Medal.

Grace works full time for the Michigan National Guard as a housing manager. He and his wife, Ashley, have five children, Jaden, Josh, Tristan, Sarah and Arloa.

He is the son of Samuel and Patricia Grace of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
