SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. - Air Mobility Command will change leaders Aug. 11 as Gen. Carlton D. Everhart II assumes command from Gen. Darren W. McDew during a 10 a.m. ceremony at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark A. Welsh III will preside at the ceremony.
AMC, headquartered at Scott Air Force Base, is an Air Force major command that provides worldwide cargo and passenger delivery, air refueling and aeromedical evacuation.
