FORT HOOD, Texas -- Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died of injuries suffered in an automobile accident July 18 near Harker Heights, Texas.
Spc. Brian Michael Luckey, 22, whose home of record is listed as Yreka, California, entered active-duty service in July 2012 as an cannon crewmember. He was assigned to the 3rd Field Artillery Battalion, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, since November 2012.
Luckey's awards and decorations include the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
