FORWARD OPERATING BASE KALSU, Iraq – A change of command ceremony for the Maintainers of 703rd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, was held Feb. 5 at FOB Iskan, Iraq.

Capt. Joseph Anthony, a Richmond, Va., native, relinquished command of Company F, 703rd BSB to Capt. Joel Dickey, from Buffalo, N.Y.

Anthony, who also served as a 703rd BSB platoon leader and a staff officer, will take command of the battalion's Headquarters and Headquarters Company in March.

Dickey has been a part of the unit since 2004. He leaves his post as support operations officer for transportation after playing an integral role in the construction of Patrol Base Kelsey during Operation Marne Roundup.

"This was an outstanding group of Soldiers when I left, and I'm inspired by how much further they've come since then," Dickey said. "I am truly looking forward to serving the rest of this deployment together."
