Fort Worth District awards $3.16M contract award

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District awarded a $3.16M contract for the Henderson Street and White Settlement Road Channel Piers, as part of the ongoing Trinity River Vision project Fort Worth, Texas. The contract was awarded on Jan. 27, 2015 to N.A.E. Enterprises, Inc. of Springtown, Texas. N.A.E. Enterprises is a disadvantaged 8(a) women-owned small business.

Work being performed will include drilling 60 battered and 30 vertical piers for the foundation of the channel hardwall that is needed to be in place prior to the completion of the bridges. Completion of the piers is timed phased to be completed by the end of July 2015 in order for bridge construction to continue.
