FORWARD OPERATING BASE KALSU, Iraq – Col. Oliver North, retired, who now hosts Fox News' popular program "War Stories," visited Forward Operating Base Kalsu Dec. 5 to interview Soldiers from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
This is North's eighth embed in Iraq, and he's "loving every minute of being here."
Soldiers who were with 2nd BCT, 3rd Inf. Div., during Operation Iraqi Freedom I, III and V were the selected interviewees. North said he wanted to interview Soldiers who have seen the war at its start in Operation Iraqi Freedom III and now, when progress is being made.
