Fast Response Prevents Rocket Attack, Nets Weapons
KIRKUK, Iraq - An incoming round led to a round-up of weapons by Iraqi police here March 3. Iraqi police conducted a patrol after a rocket attack and found another rocket prepared for remote launching, and at a nearby residence, two AK-47 rifles with ammunition in the possession of a father and son. The son was detained for questioning.

BAJAWAN, Iraq - Coalition Forces and Iraqi Police found a cache of weapons and munitions while on patrol here March 4.

Troops Promote UXO Safety
ARTEKA, Iraq -- Iraqi children have been leading soldiers to unexploded ordnance (UXOs), and now Coalition Forces are showing them how to do it safely. Troops began distributing fliers here recently telling children volunteering information about UXOs to leave them alone and how to inform Iraqi Police and Coalition Forces about them. The fliers also offer cash rewards for UXO or cache information.

Bayji City Council Votes Mayor Out
