Three earn TEC quarterly awards

MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. - The commander, I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, announced April 1 the Civilian, Senior NCO and NCO of the Quarter, January to March 2014.<br /> <br /> "Please join me in congratulating these Airmen on their outstanding performance, dedication to duty, and support of the TEC mission," said Col. Tim Cathcart, commander, in an email.<br /> <br /> Cat III Civilian of the Quarter is David Barlow, who provides broadcast and broadcast graphic support to TEC TV from the Media and Engagement Division.<br /> <br /> "David is a crucial member of our broadcast team whose hard work has everything to do with TEC TV's successes in the last quarter," said Gerry Barnes, Broadcast Division chief.<br /> <br /> Senior NCO of the Quarter is Master Sgt. Tiffany Huffman, who is the senior knowledge operations manager assigned to the Mission Support Division.<br /> <br /> Huffman's work as a manager of the SharePoint intranet was highlighted among the accomplishments in her submission package, which also listed additional duties and support as well as community service in East Tennessee.<br /> <br /> NCO of the Quarter is Tech. Sgt. Raymond Harris, who is a client systems technician in the Mission Support Division.<br /> <br /> "It feels great to be recognized," said Harris. "We have an extremely busy office, and it takes a total team effort to get the job done here. I would not be able to do it without my section's leadership."<br /> <br /> The awardees get their photos displayed in Patriot Hall's main lobby, and they receive a special plaque, a time off award and are applauded by their peers at the next Commander's Call assembly.
