Capt. Douglas Curdie assumes command of the 103rd Brigade Support Battalion

HARRODSBURG, Ky. — Capt. Douglas Curdie took command of the Kentucky Army National Guard’s Headquarters and Headquarters’ Company, 103rd Brigade Support Battalion, 138th Fires Brigade, March 8, 2014, at a small ceremony in Harrodsburg, Ky. Curdie, a former Marine and current guardsman residing in Barbourville, Ky., assumed Command from Capt. Anthony Travis of Elizabethtown, Ky.

Travis commanded the 103rd Headquarters for a period of 29 months, a time in which the 103rd earned the distinction of being recognized by the Department of the Army as the finest brigade support battalion in the entire Army National Guard.
